This video just exudes everything that is early 90′s. It reminds me of the underground in Demolition Man, the club in The Crow, and the slums in The Running Man (yes, I know that was from the ’80′s).
The video is also a fantastic representation of the chaotic frenzy of the song. People are writhing and genuflecting, almost in a Clive Barker-esque orgy. Others are jumping against fences as though they are adamant about using their flesh to tear down the metal barrier that stands in their way. And still others are desperate to inflict as much pain and devastation on the band as possible.
