Rihanna Gets A Restraining Order
Feb 27th 2013, 21:20

Rihanna has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who was caught breaking into her neighbor's home, reports TMZ. But why Rihanna, and not her neighbor?

Because the burglar thought he was breaking into Rihanna's home. TMZ reports that the suspect, Steveland Barrow, not only stole property but slept in a bed, just because he believed Rihanna had slept in it.

The break-in, which happened Thursday, was initially reported as a crime that happened on Rihanna's property in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Police later confirmed to E! News that Barrow had been arrested next door, but Rihanna had always been the intended target.

On a slightly disturbing note, Barrow has since been released from custody and is nowhere to be found, Rihanna's lawyer told TMZ.

This isn't the first time Rihanna's had to get a restraining order. In 2009, a judge ruled that Chris Brown had to stay 100 feet away from the singer after he was arrested for viciously beating her. It wasn't softened until two years later, when Rihanna requested that the restraining order be downgraded to a "level one" -- which meant Brown was barred from harassing or annoying her.

Since then, of course, Brown has done the time for his crime, and he and Rihanna have more than kissed and made up. While Barrow was busy breaking into what he thought was her home, Rihanna and Brown were off canoodling in Hawaii for the songstress' 25th birthday.
