'Outlast' Update Brings Two Additional Difficulties
Sep 24th 2013, 23:03, by Adam Dodd

The scariest game of the year received its first update today. Outlast developer Red Barrels announced on their Facebook that a new update, available now, has brought with it a reworked “struggle mini-game”, polish translation, a handful of bug fixes and a Hard and Nightmare difficulty level. I’m glad they’re tweaking the mini-game, which has you wildly shaking the mouse back and forth when something grabs you, and the new difficulty settings will give me a reason to play through it again.

If you haven’t played Outlast yet, or even if you have, David and I will be playing it — and Doorways — for the next two weeks on the Bloody Disgusting YouTube channel. You should join us, there’s always room for more.

Have a question? Feel free to ever-so-gently toss Adam an email, or follow him on Twitter and Bloody Disgusting.
