Top-rated CBS has ordered two new dramas and four new comedies to its 2013-14 roster, including a David E. Kelley comedy starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The network also ordered "Mom," from "Big Bang Theory" creator Chuck Lorre, starring Anna Faris and Allison Janney as a newly sober mother and daughter living in the Napa Valley, and the Jerry Bruckheimer drama "Hostages" with Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott.

Univision shocked Sony on Friday when it announced plans to air a Spanish-language "Breaking Bad" adaptation -- because the studio does not have any deal with Univision to adapt the AMC methamphetamine drama.

Sony, which owns "Breaking Bad," has already called Univision to express its surprise and disappointment that the largest Spanish-language network would announce the new show, which would be called "Metastasis," as part of its lineup for next year.

It doesn't always pay to follow the Yellow Brick Road.

Daniel Zucker is suing Gigapix Studios in Los Angeles Superior Court and alleging securities fraud and breach of contract over a  $700,000 loan related to a planned computer-animated version of "The Wizard of Oz." Zucker claims Gigapix never repaid the money in his lawsuit.

Zucker also invested money in the film and is seeking $1.2 million in damages and attorney's fees.

"Vegas," a freshman drama starring Michael Chiklis and Dennis Quaid, premiered last year to promising numbers, but its numbers fell off. In a discouraging sign for the series' fate, it was shifted to Friday nights earlier this year.Its original Tuesday night timeslot was taken by "Golden Boy," which has now also been canceled.
