Telepictures veteran Lisa Hackner has joined ABC as EVP Daytime and Syndicated Programming, reporting to ABC Entertainment president Paul Lee. She will oversee unscripted daytime programming and syndicated development. ABC EVP Vicki Dummer, who has been overseeing all daytime programming in addition to serving as head of current, will continue to be in charge of ABC’s unscripted daytime lineup (i.e. General Hospital) in addition to her current duties. Hackner spent a decade at Warner Bros.’ Telepictures Prods, serving as EVP Creative Affairs until stepping down last year when she segued to a producing deal with the syndication company. There she developed and piloted daytime talk shows Bethenny, TMZ, Anderson Live and The Tyra Banks Show and was an executive on Ellen.
