On Angel, Vincent Kartheiser might not have had the most idyllic high school experience, but the grown-up Mad Men makes up for that as a BMOC on High School USA!, which is part of Fox’s new Animation Domination High-Def block premiering this Saturday at 11/10c.
Created by Community‘s Dino Stamatopoulos and revolving around a class of millennial students as they confront the challenges of growing up in a modern world, High School USA! finds Kartheiser voicing Marsh Merriweather, whom the actor describes in this behind-the-scenes video as “the optimistic leader of the gang,” someone who is “always trying to make people happy.”
The rest of the comedy’s voice cast include Mandy Moore (Entourage) as Cassandra and T.J. Miller (The Goodwin Games) as Brad.
Press play to watch Kartheiser leave dark Pete Campbell behind and breathe life into on-top-of-the-world Marsh, who has an almost quaint “turn-on” (and IMO looks more than a little like a certain Archie, complete with Bettys for bookends).
