Sherri Shepherd will have a strong view or two to share with How I Met Your Mother‘s Marshall when the CBS sitcom opens its final season on Sept. 23.

The talk show cohost/actress revealed via a photo posted to Twitter that she will appear in the hour-long Season 9 opener, in scenes with Jason Segel.

As previously scooped by TVLine’s Ask Ausiello column, the season premiere, titled “The Locket,” was casting the role of Camille, an African-American or Latina female who is seated next to Marshall on a flight from Minnesota to NYC. The character becomes so annoyed with Marshal's erratic behavior that a confrontation ensues and they are both escorted off the plane prior to take-off.
This is where we do the math. Sherri = Camille.

Other previously announced castings for the season-long weekend wedding storyline include Wayne Brady recurring as Barney’s brother and Cristin Milioti made a series regular (as The Mother).
