While technically speaking, David Gordon Green's indie "Prince Avalanche" is a remake of the Icelandic film "Either Way," to box it into that category alone is to miss the point. Shot pretty much in secret last year, and unveiled to great acclaim to Sundance, the filmmaker's latest is yet another sharp turn in a career that remains both exciting and unpredictable. And for those of you who couldn't make it park city, the first trailer has arrived. Starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch, the film follows Alvin and Lance, dopey and insecure, two city workers spending the summer in solitude repainting traffic lines down the center of a country highway ravaged by wildfire. And that's about it plotwise, more or less, as the movie tracks these two characters, their abrasively friendly relationship and more.
