There is probably no bigger (or riskier) question mark this spring than Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby," which has battled a delay and rumors of a troubled production only to nab the opening slot at the Cannes Film Festival (and in the process breaking an unspoken tradition of the Croisette hosting world premieres only -- it will open in the U.S. a week earlier). But there are reasons to be excited. Namely, Luhrmann has faced this kind of scrutiny before and won people over, and also, the always charming Jason Clarke excitedly told us last year that the 3D will "....be amazing and there's never been anything like it."
