Rolling Stone has posted some pictures from the upcoming Nine Inch Nails music video for “Came Back Haunted”, which was directed by the famed David Lynch. The video will make its online debut tomorrow via Vevo. Below are the pictures, which were taken by Rob Sheridan (How To Destroy Angels).
In a 1997 interview with Rolling Stone, Reznor stated, “I'm a huge David Lynch fan – we used to hold up Nine Inch Nails shows just so we could watch the latest Twin Peaks. So we set up a weekend for him to come to my place in New Orleans. At first, it was like the most high-pressure situation ever. It was literally one minute, ‘Hi, I’m David Lynch,’ and he's cooler than I even imagined he would be. Three minutes later, he’s saying: ‘Well, let's go in the studio and get started.’”
Lynch and NIN frontman Trent Reznor have worked together before on Lost Highway, with Reznor producing the soundtrack and providing several original tracks.
“Came Back Haunted” comes from NIN’s upcoming album Hesitation Marks, which comes out September 3rd via Columbia Records.
