Idris Elba Pads Producer Credits - Will Produce Michael Caton-Jones Drama, 'One Square Mile' Jun 13th 2013, 15:45 Idris Elba continues to build upon his behind-the-camera resume, as a producer (and director as well). The multi-hyphenate has signed up to produce a new UK feature titled One Square Mile, which will be directed by Michael Caton-Jones (The Jackal, Rob Roy). Scheduled to shoot in London later this year, based on a script penned by Leon F. Butler, One Square Mile tells a story about four people with four extraordinary stories, who live within one square mile of each other. Elba's past producer credits include Demons Never Die, a horror film directed by Arjun Rose, and the web series Milk & Honey. He's also a producer on the hit drama series he stars in - Luther, which returns to TV this summer/fall.  On the big screen, he stars in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, to be released by TWC, this fall, and before that, Pacific Rim.
