Dave Chappelle wasn't the only one who lost a battle with unruly crowds on Thursday: Fiona Apple, who's as famous for boldly speaking her mind as producing well-received music, was performing at a Louis Vuitton event when things started going south.
According to Women's Wear Daily, Apple wasn't pleased that attendees seemed to busy being seen than appreciating her performance. She tried to quiet down the Tokyo crowd by calling them "rude" and implore they "shut the f--k up," and even climbed her piano at one point, to no avail.
She continued to play, however, until she eventually lost it. In a flurry of fantastic Fiona-ness, the singer apparently yelled "Predictable! Predictable fashion, what the f--k?" and stormed off the stage.
The singer recently released the video for "Hot Knife," directed by her very own ex-boyfriend, Paul Thomas Anderson. She's currently prepping an October tour of the United States.
