Ben Affleck is turning his directorial talents to the small screen.
The “Argo” star will direct the crime drama “Middle Men,” which has received a pilot order from Fox, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.

Affleck will also executive produce the pilot via his Pearl Street Films, along with Pearl Street’s Chay Carter. Glenn Gordon Caron (“Moonlighting”), who’s writing the project, is also executive producing.
“Middle Man” is set in 1960s Boston and centers on Rudy MacAteer, an FBI agent who sets his sights on taking down the Italian mafia, and inadvertently ends up giving rise to the Irish mob.
The pilot is being produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Pearl Street.
