Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters) and Jill Scott (Baggage Claim) are set to star in Tate Taylor's James Brown biopic, Get On Up. Chadwick Boseman (42) stars as the legendary musician in a story that takes Brown from his humble beginnings to the peak of his career, "while recounting his battle with drug addiction, arrest for domestic violence, and flirting with financial ruin several times." Aykroyd is set to play Ben Bart, the president of one of New York's biggest agencies, Universal Attractions, which represented Brown for 40 years. Scott stars as Brown's wife, in a part written with her in mind. Get On Up also stars Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, and Lennie James, and is scheduled for an October 17, 2014 release date.
