Well, the summer season of the superhero movies is winding down. "The Wolverine" gets its fangs out in a couple of weeks, the kids of "Kick-Ass 2" do their thing next month and then we'll have a reprieve until "Thor: The Dark World" later in the year. But these movies need promoting, and Fox is trying to ensure their second stab at standalone a Wolverine movie is more successful than the first time out. But will it all work?
We have to say, we remain unconvinced and the clips that have arrived so far aren't helping. We're not sure if it's Fox's usual blueprint of spoiling their movies by showing off all the goods before they open, or if it's simply because this movie seems to be a supercut of Logan getting his fangs out, but in this scene, he outruns an atomic bomb which is a bit much, even by superhero standards. But a silver lining arrives with the name of Svetlana Khodchenkova (you might recall the actress from "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") who seems to be pretty commanding in the role of Viper, with the character getting her own featurette.
