Fox has ordered straight to series Bordertown, an animated comedy created by Family Guy‘s Mark Hentemann and exec-produced by Animation Dominator Seth MacFarlane.

Set in a fictitious desert town near the Mexico border, Bordertown centers on the intertwining lives of two neighbors: Bud Buckwald, a married father of three and Border Patrol agent who feels threatened by the cultural changes that have transformed his neighborhood, and Ernesto Gonzales, an industrious Mexican immigrant/father of four who is proud to be making it in America.

As Bud and Ernesto's paths begin to cross, their families become bound by friendship, romance and conflict.

With Seth MacFarlane's American Dad moving to TBS in late 2014, Bordertown is expected to bow during Fox’s 2014-15 TV season.
