Where's Data to Support Air Traffic Controller Furloughs?
Apr 23rd 2013, 12:36

As airline delays mount and passenger tempers fray, the White House should be releasing data from the FAA that clearly shows that controller furloughs are necessary.  Otherwise, many in the public and in the aviation business are left skeptical that the aviation industry is being used by the Administration as a pawn in a cynical game of brinkmanship with Congress.  Aviation is the lifeblood of our global transportation industry and intentional acts by the government to create chaos in airline schedules – and thereby the schedules of the traveling public – are intolerable and inexcusable.
