Writers Guild of America West and The Black List Partner to Advocate Screenwriters
Jun 25th 2013, 17:48

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and script-hosting website The Black List announced today their newly formed strategic alliance, which aims to advocate and spotlight the work of screenwriters via The Black List's online platform.

WGAW members will be able to add their work -- including script titles, log line tags and rep information -- to The Black List and monitor analytics and traffic free of charge. They'll also receive a 20% discount on paid Black List services including script-hosting -- free of charge for one month for users who upload within 30 days of this announcement -- and reader evaluations. Further hosting will receive the discount.

Currently on The Black List is a wealth of WGAW-related educational materials which aim to increase employment opportunities for WGAW-employed writers in the industry.
