WATCH: First Trailer for Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy's 'The Counselor,' Starring Fassbender, Pitt, Cruz and Bardem Jun 25th 2013, 17:56 The first international trailer for Ridley Scott's "The Counselor" has landed. The film is the first original feature screenplay penned by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy ("The Road," "No Country for Old Men") and stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Cameron Diaz, among others, in a story centered on a lawyer dabbling in drug trade and then suddenly in over his head. The trailer's dubbed in Russian, but that doesn't keep the searing, gritty tone and Javier Bardem's crazy haircut from making a strong statement. We're excited for this one.
