Everyone is Gay, a website for LGBTQ youth reached out to their friends, A Great Big World, a New York-based duo comprised of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, to write "the gayest song ever" for an upcoming compilation and the result was the appropriately titled song, "Everyone is Gay."
In a press release to announce the new video for the song Axel and Vaccarino say:
"We believe in [EveryoneIsGay.com's] mission and stand by all those who live in fear of being their authentic selves. NO ONE deserves to be bullied or treated unfairly based on sexual preference. Diversity should be celebrated. Thank you Kristin and Dannielle for inspiring us and for making the world a little better."
