Dark Horse's 'Grindhouse: Doors Open AT Midnight' #1 Pays Bloody Homage To Exploitation Flicks Sep 9th 2013, 22:55, by Lonmonster Dark Horse is bringing that lusciously violent B-movie aesthetic to comic books on October 2nd with their new series, “Grindhouse: Doors Open At Midnight”. The series, written by Alex de Campi with artwork from Chris Peterson and Nolan Woodard, pays homage to those morally reprehensible exploitation flicks from the 70s and 80s that we all know and love (or love to hate).
