Toronto: Eli Roth's Cannibal Movie 'The Green Inferno' Gobbled Up by Open Road Sep 11th 2013, 22:28, by Jeff Sneider Open Road Films has acquired Eli Roth’s horror movie “The Green Inferno” and plans to give the film a wide release, an individual familiar with the dealmaking process has told TheWrap. Story follows a group of student activists from New York as they attempt to stage a protest in the jungles of Peru, where they encounter a tribe of cannibals.
