Oblivian co-star Andrea Riseborough has been cast opposite Brendan Gleeson in The Money, David Milch's new drama pilot for HBO. Written by Milch and directed by Justin Chadwick, The Money is about wealth and corruption among the super elite, focusing on American mogul and patriarch James Castman (Gleeson), who wields power and influence to expand his media empire and control his family. Riseborough, repped by CAA, Independent Talent and Untitled, will play Anna Elkin, Oxford educated and a self-made success who is an editor at a top NY newspaper. She will next be seen in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman.
Harry Potter franchise alum Freddie Stroma will co-star opposite Shiri Appleby in Lifetime's drama pilot Unreal, which goes behind the scenes of a hit competition dating show to follow the experiences of Rachel (Appleby), a young staffer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with (and among) the contestants to heighten the drama. Stroma, repped by Gersh, Industry Entertainment and Waring and McKenna, plays the handsome and charming bachelor who is at the center of the reality show – the heir to a hotel empire — who resists being a part of the show until he realizes that he can use it to his advantage as well. Most recently in Pitch Perfect, Stroma will next be seen in The Visitors and The Philosophers.
