"King of Queens" star Kevin James is reportedly returning to the small screen for a new comedy, according to Deadline.
As part of a TV and film deal James just inked with Lionsgate, he's set to executive produce and star in a new multicamera comedy that will be packaged under the 10-90 production template that saw Charlie Sheen's "Anger Management" and Tyler Perry's "House Of Payne" receive 90 episode back-orders once their first 10 reached a certain ratings mark.
No word yet on the comedy's concept or whether James will write any episodes, nor a potential network, although Lionsgate and syndication company Debmar-Mercury have sold their three most recent 10-90 comedies -- "Anger Management," George Lopez's "Sant George" and the untitled Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence project -- to FX.
