Dustin Hoffman will teach boys to croon in AFM-pimped “Boychoir”, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Oscar Winning actor joins Alfred Molina and Kathy Bates in the tale of “Choir Master Carvelle, who runs a boys choir school on the East Coast. The story follows a troubled and angry 11-year-old named Stet who is sent off to the school. A search is currently underway to cast the young lead.”
Molina is playing a teacher at the school, Drake, while Bates will be the school’s headmistress.
Francois Girard (”The Red Violin”) directs from an original screenplay by ”Source Code” writer Ben Ripley.
Sounds a little like “Mr. Holland’s Opus”, no?
