After having infiltrated all corners of the Muggle world, Starbucks is now branching out to include beverages from the wizarding world as well. Kinda. Though Butterbeer -- a favored Hogsmeade drink of Hogwarts students and many others in the Harry Potter series -- is not an official menu item at Starbucks, patrons can create the flavor, more or less, using a suggested recipe. How are you with potions? Hit the jump for this particular incantation and more. The suggested recipe for Butterbeer, according to Dalebacar.com: -- A Creme Frappuccino base. Don't skimp on the fat by asking for skim or 2% milk, as whole milk is required for the right consistency. -- Add 3 pumps of caramel syrup. -- Add 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup -- Top with caramel drizzle. Essentially, a friendly barista should be able to accommodate just about anything you are willing to pay for, if they have the ingredients (which you should list specifically -- don't ask for this drink by a nickname, as it's not a recognized item, and many baristas might not know anything about it). While some have noted that this combination does not, in fact, taste like the Butterbeer offered at the Wizarding World at Universal Studios, it's a start. It also opens the door for further coffee alchemy, should you be so inclined …
