The "Once Upon A Time" spinoff has found its Alice.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 22-year-old actress Sophie Lowe will play Alice in the potential pilot, now called "Once: Wonderland" and Peter Gadiot has been cast as "Cyrus, Alice's mysterious love interest." Lowe has appeared in only Australian series and films while Gadiot's most notable role is in the British horror film "13Hrs."
The "Once Upon A Time" spinoff will tell the story of Alice, "who has a generous heart but carries the scars of a long hard life," according to Deadline.
In addition to Lowe and Gadiot, THR revealed that Michael Socha, brother of "Misfits" alum Lauren Socha, has been cast as the Knave of Hearts, "a sardonic adventurer, a man of action, a loner and a heart-breaker," according to Deadline.
Though rumor originally had it that Sebastian Stan was being recast for a Mad Hatter spinoff, "Once" co-creator Edward Kitsis said at Paleyfest, "We have no plans to recast anyone."
Immediately after "Once Upon A Time" Season 2 wraps, a short "teaser" presentation for "Once: Wonderland" will begin shooting on April 7, Deadline reports.
The mysterious Amahl and the White Rabbit have not yet been cast, but according to THR, they will likely be animated with voiceover.
"Once Upon A Time" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
