While I would never be particularly inclined to call Kitamura Ryuhei's No One Lives a particularly good film - and you can read my detailed thoughts here - it is not without its particular charms. And those charms mostly revolve around a series of elaborate and incredibly violent kill scenes. And the powers that be clearly know this and have cut their red band trailer for the film to emphasize exactly that.A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere.
