Vince Vaughn could probably use a comeback at this point. After "Wedding Crashers" revived his career back in 2005, he was briefly one of the more reliable comedy leading men, but it's four years since one of his films, "Couples Retreat," made any serious coin, with "The Dilemma" and "The Watch" both proving box office disappointments. He's reteaming with "Wedding Crashers" co-star Owen Wilson in a few weeks for "The Internship," but could his real comeback vehicle come in the shape of "Delivery Man?"
The film, a remake of Canadian hit "Starbuck," follows a man who discovers through a sperm-donation mix-up that he's fathered over 500 children, and from the look of the teaser trailer that arrived this morning over at Fandango, it could be decent; Vaughn's underplaying more than he has in recent times, letting co-star Chris Pratt carry the bulk of the laughs.
Co-starring Cobie Smulders and rising star Jack Reynor, and directed by Ken Scott, helmer of the original "Starbuck," the film just got a plum Thanksgiving release date of November 22nd, so clearly hopes are high at DreamWorks and Disney for this one. Take a look at the teaser below.
