Watch THE STAR WARS Trailer from Dark Horse Comics' Graphic Novel Adaptation of George Lucas' Very Different First Draft Featuring an Alien Han Solo
Aug 8th 2013, 20:17, by Dave Trumbore

While we're still a ways off from seeing a trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII, Dark Horse Comics has gone back to the drawing board for a new look at George Lucas' original creation.  Writer J.W. Rinzler and artist Mike Mayhew have adapted Lucas' early draft of Star Wars into an eight-issue comic that tells the tale of "General Luke Skywalker and newcomer Annikin Starkiller joining forces to combat the Galactic Empire."  Pulled from a draft written three years before the movie's release, The Star Wars features other familiar characters in a drastically different appearance than fans are used to, such as the green-skinned alien pirate Han Solo.  Dark Horse has unveiled a new trailer to announce the release of the comic's first issue on September 4th through their digital store.  Hit the jump to check it out.
