The Oscar-winning Juno scribe makes her directorial debut with Paradise (formerly Lamb of God), starring Julianne Hough as a conservative woman who heads to Vegas to free her inhibitions after surviving a plane crash. Octavia Spencer, Russell Brand, Holly Hunter, and Nick Offerman co-star in the comedy-drama which Diablo Cody also wrote. Image Entertainment has a limited release slotted for October but will debut it first on demand via DirecTV August 9.
