Zac Efron's 'Townies' Set for Crowded Comedy Weekend in 2014 Aug 6th 2013, 20:14, by Todd Cunningham "Townies," a comedy starring Zac Efron, Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen, will be released on May 9, 2014, Universal Pictures announced Monday. Nicholas Stoller ("The Five-Year Engagement") will direct the tale of a young couple forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby.
