NEW YORK — Reinforcements have arrived for the upcoming cast of "Macbeth" and some big names are joining Ethan Hawke and Anne-Marie Duff. Lincoln Center Theater said Tuesday said the production will have John Glover, Brian d'Arcy James, Malcolm Gets, Richard Easton, Byron Jennings and Daniel Sunjata among the 27 actors. Hawke and Duff play the doomed couple at the heart of the Scottish play. Bianca Amato will play Lady Macduff, Easton plays Duncan, James will be Banquo and Sunjata plays Macduff. The most intriguing casting was getting Gets, Glover and Jennings to play the Three Witches. Jack O'Brien will direct the cast. Scott Pask will do the sets and Catherine Zuber makes the costumes. Previews begin Oct. 24 and the show opens on Nov. 21 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. The Shakespeare tragedy will mark a reunion for Hawke and O'Brien at Lincoln Center Theater, where he starred in "Henry IV" and "The Coast of Utopia," for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. "Macbeth" had its latest incarnation on Broadway in a one-man show by Alan Cumming, which closed this summer. Patrick Stewart led another cast in 2008 and Kelsey Grammer another in 2000. ___ Online: http://www.lct.org ___ Follow Mark Kennedy on Twitter at http://twitter.com/KennedyTwits
