The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations director Seth Grossman is currently in post on his newest feature, Inner Demons, starring Leslie Coutterand, Ashley Sutton and Susan Ateh, Bloody Disgusting learned. “The pic follows an ‘Intervention’-style reality show crew that films an episode about a sixteen-year old girl, a former A-student, who is fighting addiction but may in fact be suffering from something even more destructive: demonic possession. The movie is an inquiry into the truth about her – with symptoms that straddle the disturbing and scary intersection between insanity, addiction and true possession.”
Another off the radar project brought to our attention is Zombeavers, pictured, from Jordan Rubin, and starring Bill Burr, Rachel Melvin, and Rex Linn. “The pic is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.“
