Tate Taylor (“The Help”) is directing the movie from a script by Jez & John-Henry Butterworth and Steven Baigelman. Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Jagged Films’ Mick Jagger are producing alongside Victoria Pearman and Erica Huggins. Taylor is also producing via his Wyolah Films, whose John Norris will executive produce.

DuMont will play a USO envoy named Corporal Dooley.

DuMont has roles in two awards contenders, playing Sherman Adams in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” and Jared Leto’s father in “Dallas Buyers Club.” He also has a supporting role as a football coach/recruiter in Sony’s “When the Game Stands Tall” and will be seen in Lifetime and History Channel’s upcoming miniseries “Bonnie & Clyde: Dead and Alive,” which stars Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger as the doomed lovers.
