French progressive metal band Uneven Structure has released a fantastic video for their track “Frost/Hail”, which you can watch below. The highly-stylized video makes great use texture as well as an almost Argento-esque flair for different colors. It’s a very epic video, completely with icy landscapes, strange monoliths, and gigantic waves.
Director/guitarist Igor Omodei comments, “Our first video, “Awaken”, was always meant to be followed by “Frost/Hail” and we wanted to finally release it before we completely immersed ourselves in writing and recording our second album. Awaken was about getting used to the characters and getting out of your comfort zone. Frost/Hail is about discovering what’s out there, the rules and hazards defining your world/mind but also the limitless potential lying in taking the risk to confront and bend these.”
“Frost/Hail” comes from the band’s 2011 release Februus, which you can listen to after the jump.
