Heather Wixsom (Dread Central), Nick Digilio (WGN Radio) and Capone (AICN) will be hosting Flashback Weekend this coming August. This con is Chicago's largest and longest running horror convention and features celebrity guests including legendary director George A. Romero. Flashback Weekend also dedicates itself to the preservation of the big screen horror experience by featuring big screen horror presentations at the Muvico Theaters Rosemont 18.
“Special events planned for Flashback Weekend include a 45th anniversary screening of Night of the Living Dead, which Romero will introduce; a screening of Pet Sematary; the world premiere of the unseen Trancers sequel, Trancers 1.5: City of Angels, with an introduction by Charles Band; and a special evening with Patricia Quinn and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
