Twilight saga author Stephenie Meyer joined "Austenland" director Jerusha Hess on HuffPost Live this morning to talk about the upcoming film (Meyer produced it).
Meyer expressed a great amount of love for Jane Austen. She notes, "I love the books. I'll read at least one Jane Austen book a year, probably. They're just such a perfect little escape."
She goes on, "There's so much comedy to what Jane Austen wrote, so much biting social satire...there's a lot of levels to Austen. She's brilliant."
