Katy Perry to Debut Single 'Roar' at MTV VMAs Aug 12th 2013, 20:18, by Tony Maglio Katy Perry is returning to the "MTV Video Music Awards" stage where her pop superstardom was sealed a kiss -- this time to perform her newly released single "Roar" live for the first time, the singer and MTV said Monday. "Roar" is the first single from her upcoming album, "Prism," which will be released Oct. 22. The song itself leaked onto the internet over the weekend. In response, Perry moved the single's release up one day.
