New Trailer for David O. Russell's AMERICAN HUSTLE Starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, and Jeremy Renner Oct 9th 2013, 22:56, by Adam Chitwood Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for director David O. Russell's new film American Hustle. The story is based on the Abscam sting operation that uncovered widespread political corruption in the late 1970s. This theatrical trailer doesn't get too deep into the film's plot, but we do get a nice feel for the film's tone. There's a very strong Goodfellas vibe here, and it's nice to see Russell getting back to his more offbeat roots after the slightly more conventional Silver Linings Playbook and The Fighter. Obviously the cast is fantastic (Bale has a great moment at the beginning of this trailer), and I look forward to seeing how the ensemble comes together in the finished film.
