So remember way back when names like "Girls" star Allison Williams and "Fruitvale Station" lead Michael B. Jordan were being tossed around as possible contenders for "Fantastic Four"? Well, that list just got a helluva lot longer.
Kit Harrington, Saoirse Ronan, Jack O'Connell, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Margot Robbie are all testing for various roles, according to Variety. Ronan, Mara and Robbie (she'll be making a big splash opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Wolf Of Wall Street") are up to play Sue Storm, while Harington, O'Connell and Teller are in the mix for Reed Richards (and it should be noted Teller was already mentioned a couple months ago). And apparently, Jordan is still the lone contender for Johnny Storm.
So what can we make of all this? Fox wants a young cast, with this casting kinda feeling like "Fantastic Four: First Class." That said, it's a pretty solid crop of young thesps, so we can't really complain about it either, but we're sure you have thoughts on this, so sound off below.
"Fanastic Four" is currently getting a new script via Simon Kinberg and will arrive with Josh Trank directing on March 6, 2015.
