Former "Jersey Shore" cast member Angelina Pivarnick really wants to make a comeback.
The MTV outcast, who left the show after its first season, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $8,000 to film a reality pilot called "The Comeback."
"I want to film my own reality show and I want to show everybody who the real me is," Pivarnick says in a video message on her Kickstarter page. "I need your help to put me back on TV."
Her mission statement includes some comments on her sour "Jersey Shore" experience:
"As you may have seen on MTV's The Jersey Shore, Angelina was cornered by the rest of the cast due to her larger than life and 'tell it like it is' personality, but if you were to meet her in real life you would surely get a different impression. Angelina has a fun and outgoing personality that will shine on her new series as you see her go through the trials and tribulations of trying to be the best Angelina that she can be! This is her shot at making a comeback and she wants to show you the real her!"
The site includes a multi-tiered pledge solicitation structure that offers potential donors a series of rewards. For $1, donors can get a shot-out from Pivarnick on Twitter. For $50, donors will receive a personal thank you phone call. Big spenders dishing out $100 get a personal Skype session with Pivarnick, while $1,000 buys the opportunity to meet her and $2,500 will get donors dinner with the former reality star (as long as they can get to the tri-state area, of course).
