Two-time Tony nominee Alex Timbers is set to direct an untitled musical film that will present a contemporary take on a Shakespeare play. The script was written by Amy Talkington and will be produced by Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot through Offspring Entertainment. Jon Chu and Matt Smith will executive produce.
