Christian Bale and Casey Affleck are OUT OF THE FURNACE in this First Trailer! Jul 11th 2013, 19:00   Hey guys! Horrorella here... The trailer has arrived for Scott Cooper's (CRAZY HEART) new film OUT OF THE FURNACE. Christian Bale stars in the film as Russell, a steel worker whose brother Rodney (Casey Affleck) returns home from serving in the military, and quickly becomes involved in a ruthless crime ring. When Rodney mysteriously disappears and the police are no help, Russell is left to take matters into his own hands and seek justice for his brother himself. I've been interested in this one since it was first announced, and the trailer has be fully on board. I enjoyed CRAZY HEART, and I am interested to see how Cooper approaches this darker story. It really looks like it could be a powerful film. And the cast is stellar. In addition to Bale and Affleck, it costars Sam Shepard, Forrest Whitaker, Zoe Saldana, Willem Defoe and a really intense-looking Woody Harrelson. OUT OF THE FURNACE opens in limited release on November 27th, and will expand on December 6th. This is definitely one to watch for. What do you guys think?     Follow me on Twitter
