Add Julie Chen‘s name to the list of those offended by this summer’s Big Brother contestants.

After the CBS reality series on Sunday aired a montage of racist and homophobic remarks made by several houseguests, the Big Brother host  vented her frustrations during her day gig on The Talk Monday morning.

“When I first found out that Aaryn, who is a 22-year-old girl, made anti-gay, anti-black and anti-Asian comments, I have to be honest, the Asian ones hit me the most. It stung,” Chen said during the talk show’s live taping. “I took it personally. I'm a human being.”

Aaryn — a model who TMZ reports has since been dropped by her agency because of the unsavory comments – was shown gossiping most about Asian contestant Helen. “It’s like, ‘Shut up, go make some rice,’” she said.

Pageant coordinator GinaMarie also has been fired from her job for making similar comments.

“The year is 2013,” Chen said. “I felt ignorant, there are still people in the country who feel and act that way? Yes, there [are]. It made me sad.”
