After taking its time putting a finishing polish on the script, Universal has moved fast to start casting with Bryce Dallas Howard (pictured; Village, Lady in the Water, Terminator Salvation) in talks to star in Jurassic World, writes Variety.
With the studio now setting a June 12, 2015 release date for the Jurassic Park sequel, Universal has returned to Howard with offers.
The studio has one more big role to cast before moving forward in the pre-production.
Colin Trevorrow will direct with a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly.
Plot details have not been released. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing.
In May, Uni postponed production on the project in order for Trevorrow and Connolly to take a pass at an original draft by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and allow exec producer Steven Spielberg to give his notes as well.
