Then AMC fired him. The he created a TNT crime drama set in 1947 Los Angeles (the when and where of Bugsy Siegel's assassination). It was originally titled "L.A. Noir," then retitled "Lost Angels," and TNT just retitled it again to "Mob City." It stars "Walking Dead" vets Jon Bernthal and Jeffrey DeMunn as members of an LAPD anti-mob task force. Neal McDonough ("Justified") plays LAPD Chief William Parker, Ed Burns ("Saving Private Ryan") plays Bugsy, Jeremy Luke plays L.A. kingpin Mickey Cohen.
