Watch: Trailer For 'Mistaken For Strangers' The Indie Rock Doc About The National

Yesterday, we ran down our 20 Most Anticipated Films Of The Tribeca Film Festival, and one movie that just missed the cut was "Mistaken For Strangers," the documentary about everyone's favorite sad dad rock band, The National. But with a fresh trailer, it makes a strong case that our list could have been 21 movies long... While the format is familiar, following The National as they hit the road, the twist to the documentary is an intriguing one, centering on the director himself, Tom Berninger, the brother of the band's frontman, Matt Berninger. A metalhead at heart, Tom's invited to be the assistant tour manager and document the trip, but it turns into something much more, with the project becoming something he wants to use to prove that he can complete a significant accomplishment in his life. So for those looking for an A-Z look at The National, this probably isn't the movie, but as a study of a band from someone just on the outside looking in, it looks like it will have...
