The Weinstein Company Booking 'Suite Francaise' With Michelle Williams & Matthias Schoenaerts

With The Weinstein Company already carrying an impressive 2013 slate with "Grace Of Monaco," "August: Osage County," "Salinger," "Fruitvale," "The Butler" and "The Grandmaster" all dated, with "Snowpiercer," "Lowlife" and "Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom" also (hopefully) expected this year as well. And it seems they are already looking to 2014 and they've picked up a movie that already boasts a promising pedigree. The distributor has nabbed the U.S. rights to "Suite Francaise" starring Michelle Williams and Matthias Schoenaerts. The project, which started coming together last fall, is an adaptation of Irene Nemirovsky's novel, the story charts the love affair between Lucille, a young French woman (Williams) and the German officer (Schoenaerts) assigned to watch her in Nazi-occupied France. Kristin Scott Thomas is also board to play Lucille's mother-in-law. Saul Dibb of "The Duchess" fame wrote the script and will be directing, and production is slated to kick off in June. Oscar...
