Collider: Disney and Pixar Set 8 Untitled Animated Projects from 2016 – 2018

Disney and Pixar Set 8 Untitled Animated Projects from 2016 – 2018

It takes about three to four years to animate a movie.  This gives studios plenty of time to plan for where they want those films to go in the schedule.  Obviously, these dates can change, but it provides a semblance of a deadline even though nothing has been announced about the project.  The movie may not even exist yet beyond the studio knowing they want an animated picture as a tentpole at a particular time of year.  That's likely the case with the eight projects Disney and Pixar (four each) have announced for 2016-2018.  The dates begin on March 4, 2016 and end at November 21, 2018.  Don't expect to hear anything on these movies any time soon. Hit the jump for the list of dates.  All of the movies will be in 3D.
